My gaspipe Chiorda had Balilla centerpulls, and I still have the calipers. The "made in Italy" sticker looks, as I remember it, identical to the one on the Mirella ... same importer? Dennis in Louisville

Ballila brakes were still coming on bikes up till around 1974-75 or so. I remember seeing them on late bike-boom era gaspipe bikes in shops in Charlottesville, VA ... the "A. Camera" in particular. I don't even remember which gaspipe bike it was that I worked on for someone one summer that had Ballila centerpulls, but they were the cheapest ones Ballila made ...
