CB, like Harry Hetchins, wasn't a builder but a promoter & businessman. By the 1960s, Claud had sold off his name to Holdsworth. CBs as well as Freddie Grubb and Roy Thame frames all came from the Holdsworth frame shop. Note the "Worthy" tires and Allez saddles, both brands being Holdsworth "house" labels...
