Here's the pertinent info from the Campagnolo Timeline at http://www.velo-retro.com:
1971 -- Catalog #16 Supplement is printed in November for the year-end trade shows. The Superleggero pedals with black anodized aluminum cages, Superleggero seat post (no flutting, thinner wall, aluminum support cradle, drilled pivot, originally with engraved graduated scale), and plastic Superleggeri pumphead are introduced. The patented toothed washer (rondella dentata) is introduced for the Record sidepull brakes, along with the steel Gran Turismo rear derailleur, Velox low-cost derailleur, Elefante control lever, and the steel three-pin Sport cotterless crankset. The allen seatbinder bolt is introduced. 1973 -- The last year the Record rear derailleur is available. 1974 -- Catalog #17 is printed for the Paris and Milan year-end trade shows. The Super Record Road and Track groups are introduced with a titanium axle for the bottom bracket, titanium spindles for the hubs (dropped soon after introduction) and pedals, rear derailleur with black anodizing and titanium bolts, chainrings with cutaway inner support, alloy headset, brake levers with holes, and fluted two-bolt seat post are introduced. The Rally rear derailleur, Nuovo Gran Sport group (alloy 3-pin crankset and Nuovo Gran Sport low-cost derailleur), and Cavaturaccioli (corkscrew) are introduced.
