Subject: [CR]FS: Campagnolo NR hubs

Thought you guys should have a shot at these first before I go to eBay. These are the hubs I meant to bring to the Cirque this year, and foolishly left them on my desk somehow ...

One set of low-flange, 36-hole Campagnolo Record hubs, sold to me as NOS - but NO box, alas. Supporting that statement, I can note that I see no signs of these hubs ever having been laced up - no spoke indentations, etc. The threads on the rear hub look crisp and clean and sharp, like they've never seen a freewheel. The rear, as best I can measure it, is spaced for 126mm ... someday I must buy proper measuring tools. I don't know when they were made, and am almost afraid to loosen locknuts for fear of scratching them. It may help to know that while the q/r levers are of the curved, bumpy variety, they are marked "locked" and "unlocked" on the appropriate sides.

Flaws - there are some small, and I do mean tiny-small, scratches on the barrels. The sort of scratches you would expect from hubs that sat for years in a drawer in a bike shop. The rear hub is very smooth, the front hub feels like it is either tight or could stand to be lubed with fresh Campagnolo grease.

All the same, they're pretty, and indeed look like new hubs. In light of our illustrious listmaster's preferences, I will state that I would like $100 shipped in the continental U.S. for them ... outside of the U.S., we may have to negotiate shipping costs, of course.

Thanks,
