It seems to me, though I could be mistaken, that Brooks did indeed own Wright. My memory is that I read this in some official-sounding article back during the Great Brooks Scare when Lenark was busy gutting Sturmey-Archer. The date that sticks in my head is circa 1960 or so for the acquisition, and the end of production around the time of the Brooks factory fire that was the end of their saddle bag production ... or am I confabulating again? ;>)
