Subject: [CR]Anyone using Huret Jubilee D/T Shifters (the classic ones, not those as shown in RR23)??? Any Threading issues?

All,

I recently picked up a set of Huret Jubilee D/T Shifters (classic with the black plastic tips...) and notice that the threading on the screw that retains the lever is much different than the threading on the classic Campagnolo NR D/T shift retaining bolt.

This is the bolt that goes into the braze-on mount. The Jubilee uses about 20 TPI and the Campagnolo standard looks to be about 36 TPI (both approximation using a ruler). The bolt diameters of the two brands look the same.

Has anyone used Huret D/T shifters on Camp. Braze-on mounts successfully? Did you re-tap or just use elbow grease? Thanks for any advise!
