OK folks as in life "The Truth" is a very grey area. Something I've been thinking about lately is how much people on the list rely on the original catalogs. Someone chimes in saying they've got a 100% perfect bike that's all original, but then someone else say's, "No it isn't it would have had a differnt crankset" or "That bike never came in that color." If you've spent ANY time working in bikeshops you'll know that what the catalogs say and what you pull out of the box from the factory are two different things. Some companys have small variations and some large, but I have yet to encounter a company that was 100% accurate to the catalog.

Now take this to custom builders who's job is to make the customer and experiment with making the product better and this causes little changes to happen all the time. Also, we all know people who seem to be totally different people to others. Just on this list we see people saying a things like, "He's totally over priced and screwed me on the shipping and the part wasn't in the condition I thought" and the next person say's "I've been buying from him for 5 years and he's always been a pure gentleman." One person's saint is another's sinner. If we all got along and everything was as presented in the catalog this would be a really boring world. Life is about diversity, surprise, and the little gray areas. enjoy, Brandon"monkeyman"Ives Pac NW weather in So. Cal.
