You are correct as usual, Sheldon. I just checked the skewers on a pair of Weyless hubs I recently bought from Peter Naiman, and the skewer has a noticeably larger diameter, and will not insert through a Phil hub. However, the Timberlin skewers I bought a couple of years ago from Bob Lickton are normal diameter and work fine with Phil hubs.
