Maybe it's that I don't like to exercise my delete button like some of you, and if you are using the delete button that much folks this list isn't for you. As one of "Chuck's 25" I've got to say in many respects I agree with him. I'm going to go out on a limb and say what "I think" Chuck is trying to say. The silent majority are changing the list and using it's information for their own uses without contributing to the greater goal. the silent majority may not believe they have nothing to contribute, but I'm sure they do. The last few months have seen a lot of "newbies" posting really un"classic" posts and basically showing that they didn't read the rules before signing up. I did the same thing and for you folks that have been on for over a year you may remember the firestorm that started with me posting with just "monkeyman." I've done my best to get back into people's good graces and I think I've done so since being voted the #5 person list members wanted to meet, thanks everybody.

What I'm saying is screwing up is no big deal as long as you try to rectify the situation. I think many of us on the list would like to see contributions from our newer members beyond and introduction post. Now personally I know this could lead to many repeat postings of topics killed a long time ago. Check the archives and if you still have a question then ask. The list right now is going through some growing pains and many of the "old guard" see things moving in a direction they don't like, but feel their hands tied to change it. Just everybody relax and we'll get through this together. I may answer a bunch a questions regularly, but I also ask at least one question a week and posting things just to try to get discussions started. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sure I think the list is getting big and don't want to see it turn into another iBOB or wreck.bike, but I don't think a 25% participation rate is too much to ask. I think this is basically what Chuck was trying to say, of course I could be 100% wrong but I'm more than willing to answer the consequences. Make the list YOUR list post today. off to drink more beer in the sun, monkeyman known to the IRS as Brandon Todd Ives way too hot and sunny Santa Barbara, California
