All this talk of Italian bike shops set me to thinking...Next spring, I plan on taking my and Steve Solombrino's!) daughter to Ireland and Italy in celebration of her graduation from HS. She actually went to Italy last spring and kept an eye out for shops, but didn't have lots of time to expend on the task as it was a school trip.
So, my "classic content" question is, where should we visit? In Ireland, I will be primarily in Cork and Kerry, as they are the counties of my ancestors, and in central and sub-Alpine Italy as that is the part of the country Siobhan desires more thoroughly to explore. I am thinking along the lines of time-warp shops and classic builders.
If any of you worldly types have ideas, please share with me off-list.
