I have a similar Carlton from the early Sixties, albeit with the more commonplace Raleigh heron headbadge: same lugs, wrap-around stays, and downtube transfer. Alas it was stripped of most of its original components when I bought it, but your components point to the early 60s. Look for a date stamped into the saddle frame.
