Subject: [CR]help with new old Giordana bike

I can't seem to find any information about my wife's new old Giordana bike. I now understand a little bit more about the tubing being thin walled (0.8 at butt end) Oria. I can see the drop outs are standard eyeletless Gipeme and the bb is english threaded. The rear brake bridge is pagoda style and engraved, "made in Italy - Giordana". There is no serial number?! I checed inside the rear dropouts, in and outside the bottom bracket (cut away design style), inside the fork tube. The only marking is the size : 52 (cm) obviously the size. The decal reads Capella and the geometry is very much race oriented. The company, Giordana is an Italian cycling company, and one local shop says that he believes it was made in the same factory as Agida, but I can't find any information about Agida either. The headtube has a painted satyr, which is the same animal as the clothing company uses. The approximate year of manufacture is 1990 because it came with braze on downtube shifter bosses and the equipment on it is circa 1990 Shimano 105 indexed. Anyone know anything about this company? Anyone ever heard of a serialless frame? Garth Libre
