A friend of one of the people who works here was in with an interesting child's road bike to sell, and I thought somebody out there could use it.
It's a Gitane, drop-bar 3-speed, pretty much all steel, with extension levers on the brakes and a skinny plastic saddle.
It uses 450A wheels, (18 inch) present tires are structurally OK and hold air, but the sidewalls are pretty much alligatored.
Down tube shift lever, Simplex derailer.
Seat tube 36 cm center-to-top
Top tube 40 cm
Cranks 110 mm cottered steel
The bike is red, has some surface rust on the rims, paint is decent.
The owner is hoping to get $200 for it, which seems reasonable to me. It's in the Boston area.
Her name is Harley, and her email is harleymtb@yahoo.com.
If you're interested, or have any questions, contact her, not me.

It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours
of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills
and coast down them.
Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a
motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have
no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven
through as you gain by riding a bicycle.
