Utter exaggeration, like you've seen from me a million times. I just meant that I'd seen a few (3 or 4) that broke there. Maybe I knew at the time how hard a whack it took; I've forgotten now. Maybe they were crashed on? They were brought in by customers back in my bike biz days, and I was not there to witness them being broken.

I don't even know if the 2nd-gen ones are all that much stronger, but it stands to reason they have to be a bit stronger, with the extra metal right there where they broke.
