Alan,

In addition to Framesaver being a product that does what it was designed for extremely well, I always consider who I'm buying it from also. I can personally state without reservation that Peter is an individual for whom I have a tremendous amount of respect, primarily on account of what kind of person he is. I know a fair amount of people in the bike biz and a good number of framebuilders. I have never been as impressed with a person as I am with Peter. He is very practical, WAY more humble than his talents would suggest, and a person of uncompromising integrety that very few posses. For me, that alone is more than enough to warrent the support he deserves from cycling enthusiasts; how often do you get a chance to contribute to a person/company that is this straight and true? Almost never!

So my opinion comes down to this. I agree that internal frame rust rarely occures; but if one is going to use something (cheap insurance if you ask me) inside their frames, use Peter Weigle Framesaver out of principle. I guarentee you will be hard pressed to find a better person to support in this business or any other. I can say with pride that Peter Weigle is a good friend of mine, even though I only met him in person briefly once way back in the 70's. Over the years I have come to know him more through our infrequent phone conversations, and have come to realize that on the other end of the phone is an exceptional human being that gives me faith in the human race. Got any better reason to make his life easier? I don't.

If the world was full of Peter Weigles, our mission here on earth would be complete.
