Interesting frame, Indeed! I cannot claim to be particularly knowledgeable but.., a friend of mine has a Weigle frameset, and it looks a lot like this one (very same color), and it is stunning. My opinion, for what it is worth, is that Peter is one of the very best, right up there with the other esteemed framebuilders on this list. I bet it goes for a lot more than the $500.00 minimum bid. and I was interested what the collective, individual, varied, and knowledgable opinion of members might be about Weigle frames. So far as I recall--which probably doesn't extend much farther than two hours ago--the list hasn't discussed his frames. And, I guess, I'm not asking for that discussion, but rather am interested in whether others see his work as praiseworthy and the frame as shown in the ebay advertisement as fairly priced. A person can't get too many touring bikes, you know.
