Regarding the French shoes: French shoes run a little tighter than most shoes. My wife wears size 9 1/2 mens running shoe. She tried size 42 on & she can get her foot in, but they are tight. So these would be a 8 1/2 mens in my opinion. They have stiff plastic soles for great pedaling efficiency, great shoes. At this time I also have a few pairs in size 43 which is a size 9 1/2 mens & 9 pairs of size 46 which is a mens size 12.I will E-mail a picture to all who are interested.
Thank You,
