Almost! That is a standard cable which gives you the choice of either end to cut off and then trim the length... . The "Phillips style" are meant to be left intact and used as is. I loved (not really!) the sellers banter about bike shops not wanting to sell cables to customers.. What a load of bull. Or else things are really bad down in North Miami!!
