Subject: [CR]Wool caps

About 20 years ago, a friend (also a list member. Hi Tom.) gave me a neat blue wool Campy cap. It's the kind that has the fold down section for your ears. I still have the cap and in fact I used it when skiing (nordic) in the Sierra last week, but it is in very tough shape. Where does one get these caps these days? I'd like either one that has the same Campy logo on it, or just a plain one. I've seen the Kucharik ones and I guess I'm not jumping to buy one of those first. BTW, I'd like to hear opinions on wool clothing: who makes good ones, where to get it, etc.

I'm sort of coming back around to wool. I bike commute to work every day and the route is long enough to make wearing bike specific clothing worthwhile (meaning changing in and out of it doesn't take as long as the bike ride would). I've been using the wool undershirts found at Rivendell, and I must say it made a big difference in comfort. I wore the shortsleeved one under a modern jersey all summer long. I'd be intersted in hearing about alternatives to those wool undershirts too. The quality of the construction is just fine. The wool is not merino though. It's just a tad scratchy, but that's not a big deal. Would there be any more durable wool than the stuff in the Rivendell undershirts?
