As a big fan of British lightweights, I have developed an interest in British cycling history. I am particularly interested in finding information about the British League of Racing Cyclists. I understand there might be a couple of good books out there, but I have had no luck at all locating anything. I believe Chas Messenger has written a book entitled "Ride and be Damned" published in 1998, but I can find no trace of it. Perhaps one of our friends in the UK might have a better source for it? If anyone has any info or suggestions on this book or other sources of information I would appreciate them very much. Many thanks.
Best regards, Troy Warnick Just finished putting the front mudguard on my newly acquired 1950 Hetchins Experto Crede M1 in drizzly Olympia, Wa. The rear mudguard has a National Cyclists Union decal!
