Hey Harvey, I see tons of young men driving around with auto primer on their 1968 Chevrolets! Maybe they replenish frequently to keep "just that look?" Ha!

Actually (as always) you are correct.. IF the shade of auto primer turned out about right, I would then do a clear coat of semi gloss or maybe even flat to match (?) that odd ball anodized finish on the Teledyne Titan.....
