As the author of most of the words on the Stan Pike page I have emailed Steve Pike with the following:

As the author of most of the words regarding your father on this website I would very pleased to correct any mistakes I might have made. I would really appreciate some contact and information as your father's frames are highly regarded and there is almost no information available anywhere. I write a column in Cycling Plus magazine called Design Classics and would very much like to include one of his bikes there but I would need a lot more information before that was possible. Most of the information on the CR website came from Arthur Needham who founded Argos Cycles and who are one of the most highly respected framebuilders in the UK today. I have the highest regard for your father's frames and regard him as being one of the top British framebuilders from the last 30 years.

The only slightly misleading bit I can see is the text under the pictures of Wayne Bingham's Stan Pike bicycle. These are words I wrote about the Stan Pike frame I own rather than Wayne's frame. My Stan Pike frame was bought at Beaulieu Autojumble several years ago and I was told by the seller that it was built for one of Stan's sons - I am very careful with what I write and that is why I wrote 'allegedly' as one cannot always rely on the information a seller provides.

Hoping to hear from you soon

Regards
