Subject: [CR]Interesting acquisitions......

Two interesting acquisitions I've made recently I'd appreciate some help in identifying ;

Firstly a pair of Prior hubs - 32/40h large flange all aluminium alloy bodies and with solid axles. I remember seeing a 52' advert for Prior and Dura equipment relating to Tdf use - along the lines of Bobet having rode to victory on hubs by Prior, but does anyone know the story behind these ? Very interesting in that the large flange is hub is created by rivetting the flange to a small flange hub (9-rivet's per side).

Second - A very old and decrepit steel stem. Nothing particularly noticeable about it but certainly good enough to be worth having re-plated. Scraping off some of the rust /flaking chrome from the top of the stem revealed the name 'Nanni' / 'Torino' stamped within an oval on top of the extension. It may in some way be connected to the late 30's Bates I've acquired, but I'd appreciate help identifying the origins of the stem / details of the company.
