There was a cheap aero-tubed club racer made by Peugeot back in 1982 that used that derailleur. It was called the PH12. The Simplex-Spidel derailleurs were operated by Sun Tour Cyclone II shifters-- the ones that mount on top of the down tube and has the rear lever automatically trim the front. Pedals were Ofmega plastic platforms (Avocet Mod. III). Brakes were CLB Competition aero sidepulls. The frame wasn't anything super special: teardrop section 103 tubing joined by Peugeot's inexternal process. The last time I saw one of these about four years ago in Suunyvale, CA chained to a really dreadful burger and ice cream joint.
