Also, the Wheelsmith spokes do not have the lengthened J-ends to better fit modern hubs, requiring spoke washers in order to be usable with most normal flanged rims. Not all the new DT's do either, I think, but it is hard to tell in advance with DT's what style J's you'll receive.

That reminds me, I have to rebuild those Weyless hubs sometime.

(Did a morning group ride or 30+ miles on my old Trek 910 then picked my 12-year-old up at his school on the old Santana tandem for another 12. Would anyone like to hear about the Bianchi Trofeo I bought Aaron yesterday ? Its mainly, er, "Celeste", though Aaron calls it "Puke Green")
