Have had mine for 10 years. Swear by it. Light, packable, COOL in our warm Arizona monsoons. Beats jacket by a long shot. Water pools up between your hands though. No biggy, just flip it out. Give it a spray of 3M every half decade or so. I don't think a helmet will fit under the hood. Never tried. Rivendell had English waxed cotton ones. Wish they still did.
