Anybody else seen caliper sets like this: Old style (full inscription) caliper quick release cams from the same brakeset differ: the front is chrome plated; the rear is not. At first, I thought this might be just a random mixing of parts... but I've seen three sets (one NIB) like this so I'm thinking it's by design... e.g., the more expensive chromed part on the front where it's likely to be seen and appreciated, and a less costly one on the rear?
Or is this one for the (circular) X-files? =8^)
