My maternal grandfather worked for Styria. Sadly he never came to America and I never went to Austria, and he died before we ever had a chance to meet. He lived in the city of Steyr, which I assume gave the name to Styria.

I'm not sure, but I think they became or were bought by Austro-Daimler, which was associated in some way with Puch, which is now part of Bianchi? I must admit I haven't paid much attention to these business mergers and acquisitions; someone else here no doubt knows the real story.

None of which answers your question, sorry!
