Wow. I assumed at first it was some kind of obscure joke. But sure enough, I found the LA Times article. Off-topic as it is, please forgive me for commenting:
Reading between the lines a bit (the Times article was unclear), it appears there was no actual lewd act against a child, at least not the way most people define lewd - it was just that they feel the hair cutting was sexually motivated. I'm not making light of it, just don't want people to think he also committed other crimes besides the hair cutting. The robbery count apparently refers to the theft of hair.
I very much hope the victims weren't injured too badly, physically or psychologically, and I hope Mike gets well someday. Oops there I go talking like he's been convicted, but it does look that way.
