Fred, The set that I have used for so many years, there are four/five wrenches that I have continuously used without no problems of them stripping-out. There is one end of the closed wrench openings is marred-up a bit from over tightening. However, it is still very functional. I have had no problems with the MAFAC tools being much too soft. The only thing I can possibly think of is that I have an early set that is made from a harder metal. Perhaps, later on, MAFAC used a softer metal upon mass producing them. The stripping-out and/or bending-out of these small tools is the first I have ever heard. I am glad I recently joined the CR LIST. Smiles, Kim ----------
