howdy folks, I'd appreciate some help with an ID. I have a set of cottered steel cranks, lightweight with lots of beveling, appears to be high quality, almost look like Duprat hollow cranks, but I'm pretty sure they're not Duprat. The rear of the arms has a shooting star followed by the words "modele depose". Within the star-trail, there's a word, maybe two, and I can't figure out what the word is. I'm guessing that's the brand name, unless it turns out to be some patent numbers. I'm thinking the "Shooting star" logo should ring a bell for someone ? Many thanks. Mario Girasa Belmont, Mass.

hmmm, I''ve seen that logo. does it perhaps say "Acier diamante"?

not that this info would help much...
