Subject: [CR]'78 Viscount Sebring, tubing, type

A few weeks ago I posted a request for information about my '78 Viscount that I was resurrecting. I tried to use this board as a first time poster through hotmail and was blocked from receiving replies then had a 'puter crash and lost all information I had received. Someone emailed me from the group and told me the type of "gas pipe" tubing that is used in this frame. Could you please repeat. Aerolite something?

The project is almost complete to the point of mechanically getting on the road and I have held off on doing anything with paint and art work until I decide if the frame is worthy of additional expense of paint. Actually the paint is good and the spots where the paint was missing(bb underside and seat tube bolt area) have been sealed with a primer type substance. The bike has not been on the road for 14 years and I have no idea how the frame rides and if it is good well then I may do more with it and if not then I have a full set of components to put on a frame that accepts 27" wheels and is of late 70's early 80's vintage.

Thanks,
