They are not hooked beaded, so folding tires blow off them at anti-pinch-flat pressures.
I used a pair I built up on original DuraAce hubs for my loaded touring wheels, and they were bomb-proof for many long heavy rides. That said, eventually a nipple pulled through on the rear right side.
On the road, though, they were quite tough.
