And quite a bit later- in the early 70's a friend of mine had a Gitane Interclub that was a number of years old. It had a 3 pin cottered crank marked "Durax". Slender, fluted arms, 46/50 rings(apparently half step era) and a hollow BB spindle. The bike wasn't ancient as the foil graphics were the same as the then current offerings.
