Greetings campers and bike junque junkies

I guess the best way to describe it is, you know it's not going to be a good swap when you have to dive into the $1 junque boxes on the FIRST circuit. And it's still only a 5 minute walk through. Even fewer sellers than last year. Cookies/brownies appeared to be the biggest sellers. Hate to say it, but I'll be surprised if this swap happens again next year.

Oh well. Any swap is better than no swap. Still a fun outing, and some good laughs with the bike kooks on an otherwise cold rainy foggy day. And with a little extra effort, and serious lowering of already low expectations and standards, I was barely able to maintain a positive buy/sell ratio. Gained a few usable/repairable/cannibalizable project parts and experiments for really cheap, but nothing really critical or exciting. Almost every acquisition fell into the "for a buck, I can afford to be wrong" category.

Support your "local" swap.
