When I read about an NR with drilled cups, I expected to view the auction and see an NR with a mis-matched SR upper race. Not so. I've never seen a HS like this. Based on the pale color of the box, I'll speculate that it is old, maybe late 60's. I'm interested to know if there is a <C> logo on the lower cup as was the case on the earlier models. I think it is interesting that the box is marked "nuovo" indicating that it is Nuovo Record or at least the nuovo version of Record. As far as I knew the steel headset was always just Record, as with the hubs, brakes and certain other parts. This may be the only true NR headset model. I am also inclined to think that this headset dates to the pre-SR superleggera days, back when the alloy pedal and the SL seatpost (which predates NR) were cutting edge stuff. Does anyone know what year Campy drilled their Headsets? Thanks
