I only caught a bit of this discussion but here is another thought on why rear tires get more flats than front, if it has not already been mentioned: You are constantly scanning the road for debris and potholes, and steering around them with your front tire. However, your rear tire does not track exactly the same as the front and so can hit some of what the front tire misses. Make sense?
