Subject: [CR]FS 22" Jack Taylor enameled f&f + parts

Greetings from Olympia,

I am selling this bike for a friend. Please contact me off list if you are interested. I have a few low quality photos that he has provided.

Norman tells me that it's not one of theirs, but they enamelled it for someone, in the 40s. I think the Taylor's wanted free advertising! Some tardy local vintage experts tell me that its better than a Jack Taylor! It has rather intricate lugwork and chisel point (very pretty and rare!) rear stays with pencil thin part-chromed and with double box lining on them! 'Bat wing' rear drop-outs (chromed). Chromed fancy fork crown. Double box lined/part chromed front forks. Green/Red striped seat tube. All lugs are lined. A Beauty - and a mystery as well. I picked it up because I wanted to try a fixed gear. Norman has no idea who built the frame but it's very clear who decorated it, with love, as 'one of their own'. Overall amazingly good condition, no noticeable rust, chrome intact and clear mirror like. One or two chips and some slight fading of red colour. Does it qualify as an 'artisan' category frame? I think so.

22"c-t seat tube/ 22 1/2" c-c top tube: Frame and forks + the following components + Large flange hubs (32 front 40 rear flip/flop) + Vintage Brown B17 + Bar tape and shellac (to start your project with)

(To send as a complete bike would be too expensive and the other components aren't worth it).

$350 + Shipping from the UK(estimated at $80)

Kind regards, Troy "wish it was my size" Warnick Olympia, WA
