Subject: [CR]Used Bike Buyers Guide Now Ready!!!

I've finished my annual update, finally, just in time for Cirque!! I still haven't added the bikes from 98-02 since I've lost interest in the new models coming out. I'm sure I'll regret that in a few years as today's models become 'collectible''. I also haven't updated the bibliography for the disk version. I had it on hard copy when I sold it that way, but never got around to saving it. The members of Classic Rendezvous and Dale's website helped tremendously this year. Thanks to all. I've included an excerpt below (Benotto in this case) from the framebuilder's listing so you can get an idea of what it contains. There is also a narrative that provides tips to inspect and buy a used bike, but I suspect most listmembers will find that information of less interest. If any listmember wants a copy on disk, saved to Word format for PC, send $5 to me at: Louis Deeter, 9235 Ridge Pine Trail, Orlando FL 32819. Or, if you want to save me the trouble of saving to disk and mailing, I'll email it to you for $3 (122 pages and 140,000+ characters). I sell it for $10 elsewhere in case you see it on rec.bicycles.marketplace. Additions/deletions/corrections always welcome.
