Hi Dan, It sounds like you're dead set agains those rims, but fwiw, those are the correct rims for your bike. -Chuck Taylor Boston, MA

I just bought a 72 Raleigh Pro in good condition but the rims are worthless. They have a "Made in France" logo at the valve and the label at the seam says A.V.A in block letters. Newbie that I am, I do not know much about these rims other than they have to get replaced! Does anyone have info on these rims? Also, does anyone have an appropriate set of tubular rims for
this bike?
Thanks!
