Thanks for posting more details for us "Campa-holics."

Folks, I rest my case!

One question, though: Martin, you mention a bit of flash. Do you think these holes could have been drilled after the HS left Campagolo's factory (at least the lower cup's ones)?

If so, there would probably be no plating in the actual holes themselves.

Finally, I looked through my NOS Record headsets, and some of the older boxes are in fact marked "Serie Sterzo Nuovo Record Strada" all over the box in ink, but the parts are no different than any others (some have the early crown race or <C> lower cup, some do not). No drilled cups or races.
