No, not real exotic but rare and pretty damned important in US bike culture--the version offered for sale is uncommon especially with a Simplex rear derailleur lever, and important in starting so many cyclists down the road. I seriously doubt than many US members of this group haven't owned a Varsity, a Continental, or related bike at one time or another. Two bike frames that really started the lightweight craze in the US. Both Schwinn, one 1960 Continental and the other is a 1961 Varsity 8 speed frame and fork. Both for sale with the suicide shift braze ons. Take a look....
