Hi all: I continue in my off and on quest for one of the pink Mercier bikes to replace the one I had and somehow managed to "lose". I found one just being taken in trade by the local boneyard shop....it's a 60 c-c seat tube (and I'm a 55 rats!). Top tube is 58 and I need a 54-55. Very good shape..frame was the nice all 531 tubes with French decal. Typical crappy bike boom French paint and spray paint decal/lettering but nice lugwork..I was too depressed that it didn't come close to fitting to think to write down or note anything else.

If anyone on this list may be interested, you might contact the recycledcycles.com folks here in Seattle for details before it shows on their floor. If you call (800 # listed on their site)..ask for Brian or Andy..they know more about classic bikes than some of the younger guys. The guy who does the pricing (Dave) couldn't tell me how much they were going to ask as he had just crashed in a mtn bike race that morning and was still getting put
together in the ER.
Cheers,
Randy Nelson
