There is a sidewall preservative product that we sell for sewup tires called Tire Life Liquid Latex but it is never used for adhering a tire to rim. It goes on like a watered down milk. It seems like a good product if you use good tires.

Tubasti and similar products are very are very latex/rubbery. It goes on very glue like! While good results can be obtained we use 3M® Fasttack Adhesive because it's cheaper, dries faster and is less fussy. Their pint of Fasttack remover or mineral spirits will slowly take either Fasttack or other rim adhesives away.
