Well Chuck, you did better than I, but I found a website for an Italian
bike that I had never seen, and is for sale for $1,500.

It is SR equipped, has a dent in the top tube, and the finish is what makes me hesitate buying it. It looks like it is chromed, and some sort of metallic finish that seems to be flaking. It is a Triestina model, and in the history section talks about a distinctive color, red copper.
I mean, like some old Italian bike maker is going to be well known because of some paint color [insert emotive here].
How the heck would I fix that, along with the dent? Is it really worth fixing?
Still haven't decided yet.
