I am the "reader in Germany" and have sent the rumor to CampyOnly. The shop is located in Schwetzingen (South of Germany) and has still lots of old Campagnolo parts. When I wanted to buy a NOS Super Record lever just to get the hood (I need only one) the owner told me to wait because his supplier has told him (after all it's really a rumor) that the world-logo-hoods are now reproduced again "somewhere in Italy" and that he has ordered some. Sorry, no date no price, but I will inform the list if they really show up.

BTW: Maybe the supplier has just read the repro hood mailings here - so it's possible that I created a "rumor-circle" :-)
