Subject: [CR]Reynolds Tubing--Whoops

I finally figured it out. I had 753 and 853 confused. 753 is low temp/silver; 853 is high temp, no silver. This article is primarily about 853. Too much high octane tire glue I suspect. Lou Deeter, Orlando FL

I've been following all of this and based on this website (below) for Reynolds tubing, something seems amiss. The site says to braze at high temp and not use silver solder. Conventional wisdom would seem to be the opposite. Anybody really know anything about this? Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
