I spoke with the manager at the Battleground Inn regarding the credit card theft and found that an employee was responsible. This woman has done the same thing to another hotel guest, purchasing hundreds of dollars worth of clothing from the same catalog, Blair, and had the items sent to her home address. She has been fired. Attendess, check your statements for charges from Blair. The hotel manager is asking me to press charges because the other victim has declined to do so. Jay Van De Velde Seal Beach, CA

The billing address is my home address here in California but the shipping address is in Greensboro,NC. The date of purchase was the same day I made reservations at the Battleground Inn, using this same Visa card to hold the reservation. I'm not making any accusations, just making note of a set of circumstances. I would suggest you check your recent billing statements to see if anything suspicious has occurred. I have the name and address of the person in Greensboro who made these charges so contact me off list if you need to compare notes. On an unrelated (I hope) topic, when I made these reservations I asked for a room with two beds, which were then available. What I have now is a room with one king size bed. The problem? I'm sharing this room with another 200lb guy. (insert joke here). If anyone wishes to exchange rooms, please contact me off list and
