Hi, all members,

I might be wrong but the Word "Jap" does not bother me at all. I think it was used as a part propaganda as "hate" your enemy during the World War II. Not as insult for a whole entity of Japanese people and culture.

I kind of like the short "Jap" stuff rather than a long Japanese, see their flag? One red dot today. No beams of rising sun. They were reborn by flashes of A-boms in 1945, by American help??

Sorry off topics, but Suntour, Shimano, and Dia-Comp are their heritage and they were, at some point caught up (or passed) with Campagnolo, Simplex, and etc. BUT, there is still strong stereo types in "east" vs. "west". The west has better quality in everthing?

I noticed Japan was the only country apperars in the text book of "Western Civilization" when you study 20th century history!
