Used the big nut and bolt method to remove the fixed cup on two Raleigh threaded bikes over the weekend. Those cups were in tight too! Once the nut and bolt were tightened up REALLY tight, the cup came loose with a CRACK! The cups are hard too, scarred the nut and bolt but hardly marked the cup.
